Ayla Brown. The treasured concert continues as
Maestro Keith Lockhart and The
Boston Pops perform with the "often imitated; never duplicated," five-person a capella group,
Rockapella. Paula Ebben and Scott Wahle report from a new camera location to capture sweeping shots of the enormous, jubilant crowd. Joyce Kulhawik, Bob Lobel, Ken Barlow and Steve Burton will also be front-and-center giving viewers the best seat in the house and an exclusive look at the performers, fireworks pirotechnicians, and our nation's heroes.
Boston is joined by CBS Network and a national audience at 10:00 p.m. as Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw host the "Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular" national entertainment special. During this hour, two world-renowned artists with strong local roots, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, take the stage with The Boston Pops to perform a one of a kind, high energy Independence Day show that includes your favorite patriotic songs. The hour culminates with the traditional explosive fireworks display, which will broadcast uninterrupted, commercial-free courtesy of Liberty Mutual Group.
