Monday, July 3:


9:00 am:

No public parking along Storrow Drive

6:00 pm:

Storrow Drive westbound closed from Charles Street Circle to Berkeley Street. Closed until July 5.

Arlington Street tunnel to Storrow Drive closed until July 5.


Tuesday, July 4:


12:01 am:

No parking on Memorial Drive from Mass. Ave to the Longfellow Bridge

7:30 am:

Storrow Drive closed from Leverett Circle to Kenmore/Charles Gate exits

Storrow Drive exit in Liberty Tunnel closed

Storrow Drive ramp from North Street closed

Leverett Circle entrance to Storrow Drive closed

Ramps to Storrow from Berkley, Charles Gate, Park Drive, and Charles Street closed

No parking at Magazine Beach, no boat launching

Pedestrian bridge at Charles Street Circle to Esplanade closed

Pedestrian bridge from Beacon Street to Esplanade closed


Noon:

Longfellow Bridge closed from Cambridge to Boston

Mass Ave Bridge, one lane closed Boston to Cambridge


4:30 pm:

Memorial Drive closed Mass. Ave to Longfellow Bridge

Longfellow Bridge closed both directions

Main Street in Cambridge closed from Third Street to the Longfellow Bridge

Ames Street in Cambridge closed from Main Street to Memorial Drive

Wadsworth and Amherst Streets in Cambridge closed

Land Boulevard in Cambridge closed from Binney Street to Longfellow Bridge

Hayward, Carlton, Charlotte's Way and Dock Streets in Cambridge closed


6:00 pm:

Memorial Drive closed Mass. Ave to BU Bridge

Mass Ave Bridge closed both directions

Vassar Street in Cambridge closed from Mass Ave to Memorial Drive


11:00 pm:

Third Street in Cambridge becomes one-way

Craigie Draw Bridge at Leverett Circle closed for two hours


All roads remain closed until cleanup crews are finished.


Esplanade Restrictions

Everyone who enters the oval area of the Hatch Shell on July 4th will pass through bag check/screening areas.

The following items are not allowed:

Alcoholic Beverages

Glass Containers

Tarps Larger Than 5'7"

Sharp Objects

Pets (unless required for handicap use)
