Public Transportation For Boston 4th Of July

Information from 'Boston 4 Celebrations'
Your best bet for getting to the 4th of July celebration in Boston/Cambridge, is public transportation. Many roads around the area are closed.

The last trains on each line (Blue, Red, Orange and Green) are coordinated so that the final Orange Line train will leave Downtown Crossing (both ways) at 1:00AM.

When the event concludes at 11:00PM, Green line trains will be accessible at Arlington and Red Line trains at Charles MGH in order to facilitate all connections.

There are no changes regarding transit in the Cambridge area.

For more information you can visit the MBTA online or call (617) 222-3200.
