The 11-year-old boy found unconscious in a running Jeep in Lunenburg Friday night is improving.
According to Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early, Jobanny Matias of Leominster is now listed in stable condition at Mass. General Hospital.
The other boy found in the car, Alejandro Thomasian, 9, of Fitchburg was pronounced dead on Sunday.
An autopsy was performed on Thomaisan. According to the Chief Medical Examiner, the young boy died of carbon monoxide poisoning. His death was ruled an accident, Early said.
Matias and Thomasian were four-wheeling with their dads and another adult Friday night when one of the vehicles got stuck.
The children stayed in the Jeep to keep warm and were later found unconscious. The Jeep was stuck in mud and partially submerged in water.
