An Auburn man was hurt when he crashed his car through a guardrail, and off a small bridge in Leicester on Thursday.
According to police, 35-year-old Jason Benkoski was heading south on Auburn Street and started to cross a bridge. The car veered to the right, went through the guardrail and flipped over, landing on its roof next to a small stream.
Benkoski and his passenger, 36-year-old Mellissa McCormick of Franklin, were able to get out of the car on their own. Benkoski was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital to be treated for a neck injury. McCormick was not hurt.
Police are investigating the accident and say it's too soon to determine if any charges or citations will be filed.
