MBTA Red Line Skips Park Street Station After Fire

BOSTON (WBZ) ― The MBTA Red Line discontinued stops at the Park Street Station late Friday afternoon as a precaution after a small trash fire broke out at the stop, MBTA officials said.

An MBTA employee put out the small fire and no one was injured.

It took over an hour to restore service of the train at Park Street, causing hundreds of people to get home late.
