Wind Power Takes Off At Logan Airport
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
Logan International Airport will soon install 20 small wind turbines as a way of producing power for the building.
The turbines are just six feet in diameter and will sit on top of an office building at the airport.
The airport is starting small with wind power. The turbines will only produce about 2 percent of the building's power.
If successful, more may be installed at the airport.
