An 8-month-old baby was flown to a Boston trauma center Friday after it was found unresponsive. The baby's name and gender have not been released.

The Lowell Sun reports the baby was napping, and was found unresponsive by its mother Friday afternoon. Emergency medical personnel, along with police, responded to 338 Market Street. The baby was initially taken to Saints Medical Center.

It then had to be flown to a Boston trauma center.

Police are monitoring the situation, and haven't determined if there was any foul play.
