Arrest In Deadly Sandwich Shop Beating

LOWELL (WBZ) ― Lowell police have made an arrest in connection with a weekend beating death at a city sandwich shop.

Roberto Garcia, 20, is charged with armed assault with intent to murder.

The Middlesex District Attorney's office says he was involved in an altercation at Santoro's Sub Shop early Sunday morning with a person who was not the victim.

The victim's name has not been released.
