3 Men Shot Overnight In Lowell

LOWELL (WBZ) ― Three men were shot overnight in Lowell, and police are now searching for the gunman.

The men were shot at 152 University Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. When officers arrived they found one man shot inside the house and two others were found outside.

They were taken to Lowell area hospitals where they are recovering.

Police say they don't believe the shooting was random. They say the victims knew their shooter.

No names have been released, and no arrests have been made.
