Lynn School Locked Down After Shots Fired

LYNN (WBZ) ― A Lynn high school was locked down Friday afternoon after gun shots were fired outside of the school.

Police said the shots were fired outside Lynn Classical High School on O'Callahan Way around 2:45 p.m., forcing the school to be put into lock down.

No one was injured by the bullets.

Police said the shooters fled the scene in a red SUV.

The lock down didn't last for long and students were allowed to go home shortly after the incident.

Police are searching for the suspects and are continuing to interview witnesses.
