Boat Lands In Trees; Alcohol Believed To Be Factor
SHAPLEIGH, MAINE (WBZ) ―
Two Massachusetts men were injured during a boating accident in Maine on Sunday.
According to the Maine Dept. of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, four unidentified men were on Square Pond in Shapleigh, MaineĀ around 1:30 a.m. when their boat went airborne and landed about eight feet off the ground in a patch of trees.
Two people were injured in the crash, one person suffered life-threatening injuries, officials said.
According to police, alcohol was a probable factor in the accident.
