Police have charged a Weare, N.H., man with murder in the death of a Manchester woman early Saturday.
Police say 35-year-old Todd Peters was arrested Saturday on a second degree murder charge in the death of 35-year-old Edith Riley. She was killed and 21-year-old Timothy King, who lived with Riley, was seriously injured around 4 a.m. in their apartment.
There was no word on how Riley was killed. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Associate Attorney General Ann Rice said another tenant called police to the building early Saturday. She gave no details on what prompted the call.
There was no word on whether Peters knew the victims, whether a weapon was found or what transpired.
