Dry, Windy Weather Creates Fire Danger In Mass.
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
A fire weather watch has been issued for most of Massachusetts. The warning goes into effect Thursday afternoon and lasts through Thursday evening.
The warning stretches affects eastern New York and western New England.
According to the National Weather Service, cold winds will move through the area tonight and will be followed by dry weather and 10 to 15 mph winds with gusts reaching 20 to 25 mph. Officials say these conditions create a fire danger.
