Mass. Gas Prices Drop 48 Cents In 2 Months
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
For the eighth week in a row, gas prices have dropped in Massachusetts.
According to the latest AAA Southern New England survey, the average price for a gallon of self-serve, regular is now $3.60. Gas prices have plummeted 48 cents since July 7, when the record high was $4.08.
Prices in Massachusetts are now 8 cents below the national average.
AAA's latest survey found a range in prices of 70 cents, from a low of $3.39 to a high of $4.09.
A year ago at this time, the average price in Massachusetts was $2.67.
