Downed Wires Stop Service On MBTA B-Line
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
Service on the B Line in Allston was down at Packard's Corner for a time Sunday because of some damaged wires, MBTA officials said.
The line went down just after 3 p.m. Sunday. Crews were able to repair the wires and service was restored later in the day.
Early reports said lightning struck, causing damage to the wires, though MBTA officials were still investigating.
