Milton Standoff Ends With Arrest

MILTON (WBZ) ― A standoff between a teenager and State and Milton police ended safely Saturday afternoon.

The two-hour standoff began around 3:30 p.m. at a house on Churchill Street in Milton when a 19-year-old man held himself up inside the home.

According to police, the unidentified man was wanted on arrest warrants, though it's unclear what charges were involved with the warrants.

After two hours, police were able to talk the suspect out of the house and took him into custody.

Police said no weapons were involved in the standoff and no one was injured.
