A 14-year-old Newburyport High School student is accused of bringing seven knives to school to try to sell them to classmates.

Police told the Eagle Tribune one of the weapons was a double-edged switchblade, which is illegal in this state for anyone to own.

The teen has no record and the superintendent said nobody was in imminent danger.
