Gas Prices Lead To 4-Day Work Week In Concord

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) ― Concord, New Hampshire is putting highway and utility crews on a four-day work week to save on fuel costs and boost productivity.

The city says the 55 employees affected by the move will work 10 hours a day through the fall leaf clean-up program. A few workers who could not work the longer days will remain on a five-day week.
