Toes Found On Murder Suspect's N.H. Farm

BRENTWOOD, NH (AP) ― The case of Sheila LaBarre, who has admitted killing two men on her Epping, New Hampshire farm, has taken another twist, after police revealed they found toes from another suspected victim on the property.

LaBarre has admitted killing Kenneth Countie and Michael Deloge, but is claiming insanity.

The discovery of the toes was revealed in arguments over whether an FBI profiler who specializes in serial killers can testify.

Rockingham County Superior Court Judge Tina Nadeau ruled the profiler cannot testify for the state and said telling the jury about the toes would be more prejudicial against LaBarre than helpful for the jury.

Prosecutors say the profiler analyzed the case, including toes discovered at the farm that police say belong to an unidentified man that LaBarre murdered.

The profiler concluded LaBarre was sane, but Nadeau said he cannot testify. She ruled he was not an expert about LaBarre's psychology when she committed the killings.
