3 Arrested In NH Flea Market Raid
DERRY, N.H. (AP) ―
Authorities raided a flea market in Derry, N.H., on Saturday, seized thousands of knock-off designer purses and wallets and arrested three New York state men.
The U.S. Attorney's office says federal officers and Derry police charged the three with trafficking in counterfeit goods.
The arrests follow a two-year investigation into sales of counterfeit goods by some vendors at the Grandview Flea Market.
Agents seized thousands of handbags, purses, wallets and other items.
They were marked with designer labels including Prada, Channel and others.
Arrested were: 32-year-old Guo Qiao Lin and 35-year-old Peng de Lin of Flushing, N.Y.; and 40-year-old Junwu Chen of Woodside, N.Y.
If convicted, each faces up to 10 years in prison and $2 million in fines.
