Hampton Tolls Go Up Wednesday

BOSTON (WBZ) ― Drivers heading north for the holiday weekend will need to bring some extra money. Starting Wednesday, the tolls will go up at the Hampton, New Hampshire toll plaza on I-95.

Drivers will have to pay $2.

But it could lead to fewer traffic jams in the future.

New Hampshire is going to use that money to try to create open tolling, which would not require drivers using a Fast Lane or EZ pass transponder to stop for the tolls.
