Home Invasion Suspect Arrested In Methuen

PELHAM, N.H. (WBZ) ― The suspect in a New Hampshire home invasion has been arrested.

Pelham Police took 37-year-old Anthony Richardson, of Derry, into custody Friday night. They'd received a call from a homeowner in August, who arrived home to find his house being robbed. The suspect got away, but police launched an investigation and using evidence from the scene, were able to identify Richardson as the suspect.

Detectives put two locations under surveillance that Richardson believed to be residing. He was located at an address in Methuen, and placed under arrest.

Richardson will be held in Massachusetts on Fugitive of Justice charges until he is remanded to New Hampshire authorities.

He is charged with first degree assault and burglary in New Hampshire.
