Three women from the Boston area face a variety of charges after a police chase and cruiser crash in New Hampshire.
Portsmouth police say it started Friday night in Seabrook, where an officer was trying to stop a Toyota being driven erratically on Route 1.
The Seabrook officer later crashed, and the car sped into Portsmouth, reaching speeds of more than 100 mph.
Officers lost sight of the car for a time but soon found it in the woods.
One woman was arrested outside the car, while police dogs helped find the other two more than an hour later hiding under a porch.
Lt. Russ Russo toldĀ
Foster's Daily Democrat that the women had been using crack cocaine and marijuana.
All three face drug possession charges.
They're identified as 43-year-old Jacqueline Trottman of Dorchester, 44-year-old Linda Estrella of Cambridge, and 40-year-old Monique Sadberry of Roxbury.
The driver, Trottman, faces five other charges, including resisting arrest.
Bail was set at $25,000 cash for each. They'll be arraigned Monday.
Police say there could be more charges because the women were "also found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine, and several thousand dollars."
