Roofs Collapsing Under Heavy Snow
CONCORD, N.H. (WBZ) ―
Two more New Hampshire buildings were examined Monday for possible roof damage from snow.
The Kohl's department store in Tilton and a state building in Concord were closed while crews removed snow from each roof.
Fire officials are warning New Hampshire residents to clear the snow and ice off their roofs especially with rain and snow in the forecast for Tuesday.
Snow is being blamed for two roof cave-ins over the weekend. A warehouse roof collapsed in Franklin and a condominium recreation building roof collapsed in Concord.
There have been a total of 7 major roof collapses in Concord in the past few weeks.
