Tuition Jump Slated For N.H. State Colleges
Increases As Much As 6.2 Percent for Fall

University of New Hampshire's tuition will increase by 6.2 percent.

New Hampshire's state university system is raising tuition for the fall.
Overall costs for in-state students at the University of New Hampshire will rise 6.2 percent, to $21,600. Total costs for out-of-state students will be $35,600.
Total costs for in-state students will rise 4.8 percent at Plymouth State University and 5.6 percent at Keene State College.
Tuition also will rise at the state's community colleges, UNH-Manchester and Granite State College.
The university system says more financial aid will be available. It's going up 14 percent.
System trustees approved the changes Thursday.
