Good Samaritans Pull Woman From Burning Car

SUGAR HILL, N.H. (AP) ― State Police say two passersby rescued a woman from a burning car after it crashed on Interstate 93 in northern New Hampshire on Saturday.

Police say that just after noon, a car driven by 54-year-old Lisa Ladd of Epsom went out of control, rolled over in the median and caught fire.

Investigators say two other drivers braved the flames and pulled Ladd to safety. She was taken to Littleton Regional Hospital with unknown injuries.

The rescuers were identified as 43-year-old Scott Clarke of Nashua and 22-year-old Adam Lucas of Concord.
