Boston police say an attack on two women in the North End Monday morning may be connected to an incident over the summer.
A woman told police she was sexuallly assaulted on Charter Street shortly before 8 a.m. yesterday. The victim said she was able to fight off her attacker, who then fled the scene.
According to police, a second victim has come forward, saying she too was attacked on Monday.
Police say there could be a connection between these incidents and another attack that happened on July 13 in the North End, because the attacker's description is similar.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 25-30 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, with short hair and a medium build.
According to the victim, he was wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt and black pants at the time of the attack.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 617.343.4400.
