Police Cruisers Involved In 2 Separate Crashes
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
Two police cruisers were involved in two separate accidents overnight.
The first one happened in Watertown. According to police, the cruiser and another car crashed.
The second car then slammed into a utility pole and hit a power box that cut power to the traffic lights in Watertown Square.
Police will be directing traffic at the intersection until the lights are up and running.
Police say the officer and the second driver were treated and released with minor injuries.
In Boston's South End, a K-9 patrol car and another car crashed into each other at the intersection of East Berkeley and Tremont Streets.
The officer was treated for minor injuries and the other driver was not hurt.
