A 23-year-old Carver woman whose family reported her missing a week ago is safe, Boston police officials said.
Quiana Key walked into the Boston Police Station Sunday morning after she saw herself on media television report.
Key was last seen on Oct. 25 leaving the Club Complex in Providence around 2 a.m. with an unidentified man, who on Saturday turned himself into police.
Key told police she was fine Sunday and that after having an argument with her sister, she decided to take a train to Boston where she stayed with a friend all week long.
Key has a 2-year-old daughter, and her family told WBZ it was unlike her to not call and check on the little girl. They reported Key missing a day after she disappeared.
The man she was last seen with told police Saturday he became aware that his photo was being broadcast by the media, and voluntarily went to the Worcester Police Department where he spoke with detectives and was cooperative.
Key told police Sunday that she had no idea she had been reported missing by her family.
