N.H. Police Seek Accused Rapist's Cousin

BOSTON (WBZ) ― New Hampshire State police are searching for the cousin of a man accused of meeting women online and then drugging and raping them.

Tom Currier, 34, faces charges in connection with a women's rape, allegedly at Currier's Hampton Falls home, police officials said. He may face additional charges after several other women came forward with similar stories of him meeting them on dating Web sites and then drugging and raping them.

Now police say they are searching for Currier's cousin, Shawn Hutchins. Hutchins, 32, is wanted on felony charges of aggravated sexual assault and for being an accomplice.

Police allege that Hutchins assaulted the same victim Currier is accused of raping.

State police said Hutchins is a danger to society and they want him off the streets.

Currier met his alleged victims on Match.com and Plentyoffish.com, police say. They say he went by the name AWalkToRemember08 on Plentyoffish.com.

Police say Hutchins drives a 1996 blue GMC Sonoma pickup truck with New Hampshire license plate No. 116-9763.  Police say he may also be traveling with a woman, Julia Griffin, of Salisbury, Mass., in a red 2004 Kia Spectra with Massachusetts license plate No. 26RJ72.

Hutchins is described as a white man with blond hair and blue eyes and a "beer belly."  He is said to be about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts, or anyone who thinks they may have fallen victim to Currier or Hutchins, is asked to contact police immediately.
