Firefighters Stabbed At Revere Nightclub
Parking Lot Brawl Leads To Double Stabbing
REVERE, Mass. (WBZ) ―
Two off-duty firefighters were stabbed at Club Caravan in Revere early Saturday morning, WBZ learned.
Revere firefighters Kenneth McDonald and Joseph Laurano were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital after the stabbing at 12:15 a.m. Their stab wounds were said to be serious.
Police said a brawl over a parking space may have led to the double stabbing.
One of the victims is a 12-year veteran with the Revere Fire Department.
Shortly after the assault, Revere police arrested Jakeem Gonsalves and charged him with aggravated assault.
