2 Cars Pinned Under Tractor Trailer On Route 128
WELLESLEY, Mass. (WBZ) ―
Part of Route 128 was shut down Thursday afternoon after two cars ended up pinned beneath a tractor trailer.
The crash happened just before 1 p.m. in the southbound lanes, just south of Route 9 in Wellesley.
State Police shut down two lanes of traffic so they could free the drivers. A woman, the driver of a white car pinned toward the back of the truck, was taken away from the scene on a stretcher. Her injuries are said to be minor.
Two men in the other car and the truck driver were not hurt.
The truck driver told WBZ the other drivers failed to yield before they moved into his lane and that's what caused the accident.
State Police have not commented yet on the crash.
