Bomb Threat Evacuates Dorchester School

DORCHESTER (WBZ) ― A bomb threat prompts an evacuation of the Boston Latin Academy in Dorchester on Tuesday.

Police say someone called the school and said they had stuff all over the building and everyone inside had 30 minutes to get out.

The bomb squad combed the school for any threatening devices and eventually cleared the scene.

Students and faculty stood on a nearby sidewalk while officials investigated.

Just last month, the school was put in "safe" mode (lockdown) after a shell casing was found in the boy's bathroom.

Nothing else was found, and no one was hurt during the incident and the lockdown was eventually lifted.
