Driver Sentenced For Kicking Girl Off School Bus

A former school bus driver
who ordered a fourth-grader off his bus nearly two miles from home as punishment for changing seats without permission has been sentenced to one year of probation.
Donald Davison Jr. of Grafton was also barred by a judge on Thursday in Westborough District Court from working as a bus driver and ordered to undergo anger management counseling.
The 66-year-old Davison was charged with reckless endangerment of a child after leaving the 9-year-old girl on the side of a busy Shrewsbury road in November 2008.
He was fired the next day.
Cyrena Medbury was driven home by another parent.
The girl's mother tells
The Telegram & Gazette that the sentence was the best resolution without her daughter having to testify.
Davison did not return a phone message.
