Gun Seized From Student At Seaport Campus
CHARLESTOWN (WBZ) ―
Police arrested a 17-year-old student for allegedly having a gun and threatening staff members and other students at the Seaport Campus School for Children Friday.
Officers spoke to school personnel, who had received information from various students that 17-year-old Ryan Beausoleil, of North Reading, was carrying a gun.
Police say when school officials confronted Beausoleil with the information, he lifted his shirt and displayed a gun tucked into his waistband.
Beausoleil then allegedly became enraged when the firearm was taken away from him. He allegedly demanded it be returned or he would "be back and shoot the school up." He also allegedly told one administrator that he would "shoot him in the face."
Officers determined the gun in question was a pellet gun. Beausoleil was arrested and faces several charges.
