Kerry To Ride Part Of Pan Mass. For Kennedy

BOSTON (WBZ) ― Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry said he will ride this year's Pan Mass. Challenge to raise money for cancer research in honor of Sen. Ted Kennedy, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in May.

Kerry, who has been riding in the in the 190-mile bike race for six years, will bike 110 miles on Saturday in Kennedy's name.

Over 5,000 people will take part in this year's ride. All the proceeds will benefit the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.

Kennedy completed his last day of radiation and chemotherapy last week.

The senator was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor after suffering from a seizure at his Cape Cod home on May 17.
