Rain Blamed In Serious J.P. Motorcycle Crash

JAMAICA PLAIN (WBZ) ― Heavy rain may have been a factor in a serious motorcycle accident in Jamaica Plain overnight.

State police officials said 23-year-old Vladimir Romain was riding his motorcycle in the area of 110 Morton St. around 4 a.m. Saturday when he lost control and crashed into a curb and then into a utility pole.

Romain is said to have suffered serious injuries.

Police officials said speed and weather were factors in the crash.
