13-Year-Old Boy Shot Twice In South End

SOUTH BOSTON (WBZ) ― A 13-year-old boy from Boston is recovering Monday after he was shot in the South end.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Monday, and police said they believe he was hit twice while standing outside on Mystic Avenue. After he was shot the boy ran inside a nearby house.

The boy was rushed to Boston Medical Center though police said his injuries are not life-threatening.

The boy told police two boys on bikes shot him. No arrests have been made.
