Police Cruiser Hit Responding To Crash In Chelsea

CHELSEA (WBZ) ― A state police cruiser was rear-ended in Chelsea Saturday afternoon while responding to a different car accident involving a scooter.

Police officials said the cruiser vehicle was hit at the Route 1 overpass in Chelsea. The officer was not injured.

The female driver of the car that hit the cruiser was also uninjured. Charges are pending in the incident, state police officials said.
