Dangerous Man Wanted In String Of Bank Robberies

BOSTON (WBZ) ― A man who police say should be considered armed and dangerous is wanted in connection with 10 bank robberies, most in the Boston area.

Police said in each robbery the man handed a note to a bank teller demanding money and threatening that he had a gun.

On two occasions he wore a Boston Water and Sewer work jacket. The robber has hit up three Sovereign Banks in Boston and one in Quincy. He has also robbed an Eastern Bank in South Boston, a Watertown Savings Bank, a Cambridge Savings Bank in both Belmont and Arlington and a Citizens Bank in Natick.

He is described as a white man between the ages of 30 and 40. He is said to be about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium to heavy build.
