BOSTON (WBZ) ―
One woman is dead and two others are injured after a single-car crash in the Sumner Tunnel early Sunday morning.
According to state police, the car slammed into the median barrier inside the tunnel near the ramp to Storrow Drive shortly before 1:30 a.m. When police arrived, they found two men ejected from the car and one woman still inside.
The woman, identified as Sharlene Bautista, 34, or Roslindale, was rushed to Mass. General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The two men, Amaurys Objio, 25, of Roslindale and Jose Danny Baez, 25, of Roslindale, are both listed in serious condition and are being treated at two Boston hospitals.
