School and town officials held an emergency meeting Saturday to review the situation.
The two students will stay at home until their family physician can certify that they're healthy enough to return to classes.
"Normally the parents decide when a student is healthy enough to return to school but in this case we want to take the extra precaution of requiring a doctors clearance before the students will be allowed back at school," Dr. Hoffmann said in a statement.
Hofmann said authorities discussed the possibility of closing the high school next week but decided that wasn't necessary.
The entire building will be disinfected Sunday.
So far, there are
six confirmed cases of the swine flu in Massachusetts.
