By Terry Eliasen, Meteorologist, Executive Weather Producer
BOSTON (WBZ) ― M-O-T-S.

That is the forecast in a nutshell for Thanksgiving Day.

"More of the same" classic November weather that we have been experiencing over the last few days.

Overcast skies, pockets of drizzle, raw east wind for the entire day.

MORNING

Heading out early in the morning for a football game, temperatures will be in the 40's with some light drizzle in spots especially near the coast and to the south.

AFTERNOON

Temperatures will peak, if you can call it that, near 50 by early afternoon.

As the day wears on, the chance for light rain showers and wetter conditions will increase to the south.

NIGHT

Eventually by sunset, and thereafter, light rain will overspread the entire area.

A strengthening area of low pressure will approach from the south Thursday night and early Friday bringing heavy rain and eventually strong winds as we head into the weekend.
