Traffic Nightmare Expected In Foxboro, Mansfield
BOSTON (WBZ) ―
If you have to travel through the Foxboro and Mansfield areas Thursday afternoon, you may want to alter your plans. A "perfect storm" of traffic is expected on Routes 495 and 95 and Routes 1 and 140.
That's because there's a Patriots pre-season game at
Gillette Stadium and a Jonas Brothers concert at the
Comcast Center.
The Pats game starts at 7:30 p.m., but the parking lot opens at 3:30 p.m. and the gates to the stadium open at 5:30 p.m.
The concert begins at 7 p.m., but doors open at 6 p.m.
The two venues are only about 11 miles apart, so you'll need to have a great deal of time and patience if you're heading to either event this evening.
The Patriots are encouraging fans to take the T if possible. Visit their
Web site for more information.
