1,000 Turkeys Donated To Needy Boston Residents

BOSTON (WBZ) ― One thousand Boston families will have a feast this Thanksgiving, thanks to Catholic Charities and NSTAR.

Volunteers and their families gathered at the Catholic Charities El Centro del Cardenal at 76 Union Park St. Saturday morning to help hand out turkeys and all the fixings needed for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Catholic Charities will be providing meals for more than 4,000 families across eastern Massachusetts this Thanksgiving.
