An armed robber wearing a long wig and a mask was caught on camera robbing a bank in Walpole Tuesday afternoon.

The robbery happened at the Sharon Credit Union at 2 Union Street around noontime.

According to police, the masked man entered the bank, pointed a gun at employees and demanded cash.

He was last seen running out of the bank and down to Chestnut Street, police said.

The suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police describe the suspect as a white man wearing a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans, a Red Sox baseball cap, a long black wig and a mask.

No one was hurt in the robbery, police said.
