Police are looking for a man who robbed a Bank of America in Waltham on Thursday.

The suspect, described as a very skinny man about 5 feet 8 inches tall, walked into the Bank of America on Main Street shortly after noon and passed a note to the teller demanding money.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Just prior to the robbery, a call came in claiming that there were two males in the Waltham High School parking lot carrying rifles. Police later determined the call to be a "hoax."

It is unclear if the call is connected to the Main Street robbery.
