Teen Gunned Down In West Roxbury

WEST ROXBURY (WBZ) ― A young man was shot and killed in West Roxbury early Tuesday morning.

The 18-year-old was found at 102 Fawndale Rd. shortly after 1 a.m. He was rushed to Brigham and Women's Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The second shooting victim, a 25-year-old man, was taken to Beth Israel Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

It is unclear what sparked the shooting, but police say they are investigating. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 617-343-4470. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call 800-949-TIPS or text the word TIPS to CRIME (27463).

So far, there have been no arrests.
