Drivers started navigating through
big changes at the Weston Toll booths Monday morning.
The Turnpike Authority has moved around the
Fast Lane and cash lanes on the Eastbound side.
The two lanes to the far left and the one lane on the far right are now marked Fast Lane only.
Drivers paying cash must now move to the middle three lanes.
There is one less lane overall now.
There are new signs in place to indicate the changes, but drivers can expect some extra delays while fellow commuters figure it all out.
The changes are an effort to improve
traffic flow at the Route 128 interchange, and deal with complaints that Fast Lanes regularly back up at the tolls, while the cash lanes flow more freely.
